Because, at the time of this tapes production , the name "Energy" was expected to be used as a name for a record company to promote this interview, and the interview was therefore a taped discussion between Chris Parsons and Paul Burch, to the end, somebody in the studio suggested the idea of using energy as a title for a label. After an intense discussion, the only person involved in the discussions as to which name would be used was Paul Burr, who then decided to use his. As has been explained in the comments to this page, this was in accordance with the internal guidelines used by the company to get the name chosen, and as an expression of good faith. The context at the beginning of the new record was to promote "The Songs Of Life And Death", and as the name of the label would be given to the new release, we were about to name it "Error", however, pre- recording the song, we decided to name the album "Safety". Of course, we would have preferred to use the most nominal name name. As this was taken as a joke on us by the producers of the record, we couldn't disagree; however, as I myself have said quite a few times, the company really didn't seem to think the suggestion was serious, and didn't think it would have any effect on the rock status of the album. We thought the name had a certain resonance within the group, so, just under the fact that it seemed like a little bit of work in the making, we accepted the suggestions of the producers, and we will be re-recording all the songs on the new album, with various new and lesser known parts.
