English The Desire is a Tamil dubbed movie released in the year 2015. It is about two friends who are polar opposites and their unstoppable urge to change. Rahul and Aarthi, both outsiders at their respective schools, meet through a mutual friend and start talking to each other online. One day, Rahul picks up Aarthi at her school to show her his ‘world’. He takes her to the mall, where he plays with the air guns, and then out for ice cream. The rest of their time together is spent doing crazy things like riding on the back of a truck and lightening crackers in an empty field. While this is happening, Rahul’s father has invested heavily in order to make his son study abroad; but soon comes to know that his son has fallen in love with a girl who studies at his own school. He decides to use this information against his son, threatening him with dire consequences if he does not give up Aarthi. When Rahul suggests that Aarthi and he elope, she is initially reluctant. She suggests that they wait until her exams are over and then decide what to do. Rahul, however, convinces her to run away to Coimbatore with him the very next day. During the drive to Coimbatore, they have a fight about who will pay for dinner when they get there. In a silly turn of events, Rahul hits his head on the steering wheel and dies instantly.
